These Orthodox prayer ropes (bracelets) are fully handmade of 100% silk threads and a metal cross bead. The prayer rope is made according to the ancient monastic tradition of tying the knots so that the knots themselves would constantly make the sign of the cross.
Each knot contains 7 little crosses being tied over and over, which makes it almost impossible to untie.
The prayer rope may be gently stretched to separate the knots. It can fit on most adult wrists.
Each knot is approximately 1/4” diameter.
